This place is not the most appealing spot to the eye, outside or inside, but their food offerings is good. I'm not saying this place is dirty or unsanitary or anything like that, just in need of an update aesthetically and it's kinda dark inside. Alright, there's my opinion on that...on to the food!

    Sushi & Sashimi buffet area - meh - 1.5/5 stars - I don't come here for them
Hibachi Grill area - haven't partake
Main Buffet area - salads, desserts, soups, side items, and a variety of main courses. It's a good one imo. General Tso's Chicken, Honey Shrimp, Broiled Stuffed Shrimp, Short Ribs, Hot & Sour Soup, Beef Broccoli, Lo Mein, House Fried Rice, Garlic Stir Fried Green Beans, Fried Oysters and Shrimp to name a few. BUT I come here for the Fried Shrimp, Crawfish, Crab & Baked Mussels, they're very good. At the $10.99 price for dinner on weekends, it's very hard to beat plus the service is not bad.  The hostess greets you as you walk in and takes you to your table and the servers are efficient and doesn't hover.

Not a bad spot at all :)

All you can eat sushi and hibachi and food bars for $9 lunch 11-4

Just had lunch with 8 of my friends.  We all stuffed ourselves silly.

This was my second visit.  I look for consistency . I was not disappointed.

Both the sushi bar and hibachi grill has a wide variety of fresh food, with a fantastic hibachi chef, both worthy of tips.

The food bar caters to Chinese and American tastes: salads, deserts, soups, side items, and a variety of main courses.

The service is fast and courteous.  My sweet tea glass didn't stay empty for long, dirty plates were taken away and when I dropped one of my chopsticks. I was asked for if I wanted a second pair.  Great service.

We had a wonderful time and will be coming back.

    Enjoy my friends.

Buffet joints has always been my weakness and this place is one of them that tops it all. Royal Buffet happens to be one of my Dad's favorite places to eat as well.

Royal Buffet has about 6 Island Food bars and a Hibachi area. They have good food and great selection. Add a Sushi Bar to that list and you are just in a heap of mass caloric ingestion trouble once you are done eating. This place has been a Royal pain to my hips and tushy. I eat beyond content here. I practically have to spend hours of mountain biking or gym time afterwards just to burn down the caloric overload. Lots of pluses though.

One drawback at Royal Buffet however is their Hibachi Grill area, a section where I have noticed inconsistencies. There seems to be a language barrier with the cooks behind counter, so your food is a hit and miss at most times. It is either the cook knows what he is doing or he does not.

But aside from that, good food is to be have here... so Feast On Royal Patrons!!!

I am a regular and I've never had a bad meal here. I'm a big fan of their food by the pound usually at $5.99 per lb. with a 20% discount on this deal after 9pm. Yah, sometimes I'm a late eater and I am rewarded here.

I just really like their flavors and I'm no stranger to authentic Chinese food and other Asian foods that have been Americanized. Let's face it. Most buffets cater to the masses and Royal Buffet is no exception. I still enjoy it tho! And I do know that the owner told me his staff was trained by a chef specializing in Chinese food from NYC for a few months prior to opening.

I have been pleased with all of the flavors found in their dishes especially in the General Tso's Chicken, Honey Shrimp, Broiled Stuffed Shrimp, Short Ribs, Hot & Sour Soup, Beef Broccoli, Lo Mein, House Fried Rice, Garlic Stir Fried Green Beans, Fried Oysters and Shrimp, Seaweed Salad among other buffet options including the variety of sushi rolls and specialty seafood dishes they offer on occasion (think clams, crab legs, crawfish, etc.). There is a dinner upcharge when crab legs are involved.

The service here is consistently attentive and the girl at the register who always helps me and weighs my take-out order is awesome. Good vibes.

And in the end if you still have room, they offer a basic dessert bar, self-serve ice creams and fried donuts (just like my Grandma used to make!).

I don't really like buffets but I love love love seafood and all you can eat seafood is better. It's not a five star white table cloths kinda place so don't expect fine dining. The seafood was fresh and the kept it coming. I left full and happy. Get the blue crab it was great.
